About this project
Whilst browsing through Pinterest I came across some images that looked great for a lifestyle photography shoot with a "lazy days" theme. A mood board was soon created and a suitable hotel room booked in Dublin with neutral décor to match this lifestyle photography theme. The hotel room in Dublin had big windows which let in a lot of natural light and the bright room interior helped to reflect that. My off-camera softbox diffuser worked well to achieve the perfect lighting mood for this photo shoot.
This lifestyle photography shoot was my first attempt at this photography genre. The shoot went brilliantly from start to finish and the model was amazed at the resulting images. All photos were edited in Adobe Lightroom for that bright and neutral feel.
For this lifestyle photography shoot, an off-camera softbox light diffuser was used with my Canon Speedlite to give natural-looking light coverage. Fill flash was provided from my 7D Mark II on-board pop-up flash. The bright hotel room décor, natural light from the big windows and my Lightroom editing style helped provide the finishing touches.
